A match multiplies your balance, but wagering usually applies to bonus + deposit.
A deposit match adds bonus funds as a percentage of what you deposit. The value depends heavily on whether wagering applies to just the bonus, or the bonus plus your deposit.
When wagering applies to "deposit + bonus", the effective requirement can double. Always check which base the multiplier uses.
Deposit matches can be worth it, but only after you compute the expected cost of clearing them against the max you could realistically withdraw.
A 100% match on $100 gives $200 to play. At 35× on the bonus, that’s $3,500 to wager. At 35× on deposit + bonus, it’s $7,000 — twice the playthrough for the same headline.
