This site makes money from affiliate commissions. When you click certain operator links and open an account, the operator pays us a fee. This page explains that plainly, because you should know how a comparison site is funded before you trust its comparisons.

How the money flows

1. You click a marked operator link (“Visit site”).
2. You open an account with that operator.
3. The operator pays us a commission.

It costs you nothing extra. The commission comes out of the operator’s marketing budget, not your deposits or winnings.

Where links appear — and where they never do

Operator links appear on reviews, comparisons and toplists, always marked and always routed through a visible interstitial page so you know you’re leaving our site.

They never appear on responsible-gambling pages. And no link on this site is ever a bonus offer — Alberta’s rules keep offers on operators’ own sites, and we explain the mechanics instead: how bonuses work.

What commissions don’t buy

• Not a listing. Operators are listed because they’re on the AGLC register, commission or no commission.
• Not a ranking. Scores come from the seven criteria in how we rate, locked before commercial terms are discussed.
• Not softer criticism. Reviews carry the downsides we find. Commissions differ between operators, which is precisely why the scoring is computed from test data first.

Some licensed operators on this site have no commercial relationship with us at all. Nothing in the copy tells you which — the reading experience is identical, and that’s deliberate.

Why we’re comfortable with this model

The alternative funding models for a site like this are worse: operator-sponsored placements, or paywalls. Marked commissions with a hard editorial firewall keep the site free while letting us say plainly when a casino is slow to pay or buries its limits tools.
