This site is designed to know as little about you as possible. There are no user accounts, no newsletters, no advertising trackers, and nothing here asks for your name. This page describes the little that remains, plainly.

What we collect

Nothing you type. The site has no accounts, forms or comment fields. If you email us, we receive what you send and use it only to respond and to fix whatever you reported.

Standard technical logs. Our hosting provider ({{VERIFY: hosting provider}}) processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as every website host does. We don’t use these logs to identify visitors.

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless tool. It gives us page-level counts — which pages are read, roughly where traffic comes from, which outbound casino links are clicked — without cookies, cross-site tracking, or profiles of individual visitors.

What we store in your browser

One item. If you read a casino review, the site may store that casino’s name in your browser’s localStorage (key: bac:lastRead) so a later visit can show you a “continue where you left off” note. This value never leaves your browser — we don’t receive or transmit it — and clearing your browser data removes it.

We set no cookies of our own.

Outbound links and affiliate tracking

When you click a “Visit site” link, you pass through a clearly marked interstitial page on our domain and then continue to the casino operator’s website. The link may carry an affiliate tag so the operator knows the visit came from us — that’s how the site is funded, as our affiliate disclosure explains.

From the moment you land on an operator’s site, its privacy policy governs, not ours. Licensed Alberta operators collect substantial personal information (identity verification is a regulatory requirement) — that collection happens there, never here.

The same applies to other external links (AGLC, GameSense, help services): their policies govern their sites.

What we don’t do

• No selling, renting or sharing of personal information — we have essentially none to share.
• No advertising networks, remarketing pixels or social-media trackers.
• No third-party font or CDN requests: fonts and assets are served from our own domain.
• No profiling of individual visitors.

Children

This site is for adults 18 and over, and nothing on it is directed at minors. We knowingly collect no information from anyone, minors included; if you believe a minor has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act) gives you rights of access and correction over personal information an organization holds about you. Our honest answer to most requests will be that we hold nothing beyond any emails you’ve sent us — but you’re welcome to ask: {{VERIFY: contact email address}}.

Changes

If our practices change — for example, if we add a newsletter — this page will change first, with the “updated” date moved and material changes noted per our corrections policy.
