How errors on this site get flagged, fixed and logged. Material corrections are noted on the page they affect, and every page shows when it was last checked.
We publish dated, checkable claims about a regulated market, which means we will sometimes be wrong — an operator changes its payment lineup, a launch date slips, a rule is amended. This page is how errors get fixed.
How to flag an error
Send the page URL and the problem via the contact page. Anything helps, but the fastest fixes come from specifics: what the page says, what’s actually true, and a source if you have one.
We treat licence-status errors, payment facts and regulatory claims as urgent. Typos are welcome too; they just queue behind the substantive ones.
What happens next
- We re-check the claim against primary sources — the AGLC register, the operator’s published terms, or our own test records.
- If the page is wrong, we fix it and update the page’s “last updated” date.
- Material corrections — anything that could have changed a decision you made — get a visible note on the affected page saying what changed.
- If the error came from our test data, we re-test rather than patch the number.
What counts as material
- Licence or registration status stated wrongly
- A payment method, fee or payout time that was incorrect when published
- A score computed from wrong inputs
- Regulatory claims (age, legality, self-exclusion) stated wrongly
Style edits, broken links and clarity rewrites are fixed silently — the “last updated” date still moves.
Time-sensitive facts
Alberta’s market is new and changes fast, especially through the 13 October 2026 transition window. Where a fact is fluid, our pages say when it was checked rather than pretending permanence. The licensed operators list is the fastest-moving page on the site and is corrected on that basis.
