Full list of
licensed Alberta online casinos
Every online casino brand registered with the AGLC for Alberta's regulated market, with the company operating each one. 22 sites were live at the 13 July 2026 launch; the rest must launch or exit by 13 October 2026.
This is the full list of online casino and betting brands registered with the AGLC for Alberta’s regulated market, alongside the company operating each one. Licence status is the entry requirement to appear here at all — it is not a ranking.
Two things to know before you scan it.
Registered doesn’t always mean live yet. 22 sites launched on day one, 13 July 2026, and registered brands that haven’t launched must go live or exit by 13 October 2026 — so this list keeps moving through 2026. Brands we’ve verified as live carry a green “Live” marker below; the new-casinos tracker follows the launches.
One company often runs several brands. Apollo Entertainment operates eight Casino Rewards brands; Skill on Net runs four; Cadtree runs the four Palace Group casinos. The operating company is where accountability sits, so we show it beside every brand.

How to verify this list yourself
Don’t take our word for it — that’s the point of a register.
- Open the AGLC’s iGaming pages at aglc.ca/igaming and find the registrant list.
- Search the operator’s brand or company name.
- On the casino site itself, look for Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) branding.
The full walkthrough, with red flags to watch for, is in how to check a casino is licensed.
What being registered requires
Registration isn’t a formality. To make and keep it, an operator must:
- pass AGLC due diligence on the company and its suppliers;
- sign a commercial agreement with the AiGC;
- hold RG Check responsible-gambling accreditation and integrate Alberta’s market-wide self-exclusion;
- verify every player is 18+ and in Alberta;
- follow the advertising standards, including the ban on public bonus advertising;
- have stopped serving Canada’s unregulated grey market.
A brand that loses registration comes off this list and off this site.
Frequently asked
How many casinos are licensed in Alberta?
About 50 operators registered for the market’s launch; 22 platforms were live on day one. We’ve independently verified 12 of the 53 registered brands as live so far, and the number changes as brands launch toward the 13 October 2026 deadline.
Is Play Alberta on the register?
Yes. Play Alberta is the government-run platform and continues alongside the private operators.
A casino I use isn’t on this list. What does that mean?
It isn’t legal in Alberta. It may hold an offshore licence, but that gives you no Alberta protections — why that matters.
